Wind energy farms in Israeli mountains. Environmental impact and locational considerations

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The questions with which the research was to deal were defined as follows: which are the appropriate sites, particularly in the hilly Galilee region in Israel, for erecting turbine farms for wind generated electricity? Would wind farms have to compete with other land uses? Which safety, aesthetic and environmental factors have to be taken into consideration with the erection of such a wind farm? -Author
