Abstract
We describe WinClone, a prototype system that allows role-specific distributed views of existing single-user applications. The system permits application specific customization with no change in the application itself. The shared application windows are copied and manipulated according to role-based policies to external displays over the network, providing privacy protection and relaxed verbosity to accommodate both presenter and audience needs.
