Abstract
Spectrum sensing refers to the task of identifying the frequency support of a given input signal. Standard radiofrequency (RF) lab equipment can provide this functionality. An example is a spectrum analyzer (e.g., HP-8563E), which sweeps the center frequency of an analog bandpass filter and draws the in-band signal energy.
