Abstract
The article discusses the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and wellbeing of frontline healthcare workers has well documented. Topics include the research demonstrates that, despite longstanding recognition of the need to support the mental health and wellbeing of the healthcare workforce; and the Boorman Review, published in 2009,10 emphasised the importance of prioritising staff health.
