Abstract

The article discusses the constitutional system of Islamic law in Pakistan and the effect of Constitution on marriage law in the country. It explores the relationship between the law and human rights and their role in protecting the marital rights of Pakistani women. It examines the methods developed by courts which aim to protect women's right and to promote better constitutional scheme. Also investigated is the influence of Pakistani regime on the use of Islamic and constitutional laws in regulating marriage law with respect to human rights.
