Abstract

Ban'gapsuda1 and welcome to the 3rd International Workshop on Crowd-Based Requirements Engineering (CrowdRE'19), where scientists and representatives of industry with experience or an interest in CrowdRE meet to exchange ideas and contributions regarding the state of the art, and to inspire each other in ways to move forward together. The discipline of CrowdRE seeks to address challenges of traditional requirements engineering (RE) techniques by scaling up to settings with thousands to millions of users of a (software) product. These users can easily interact among themselves and with the development company, forming a large and heterogeneous group that can be denoted as a 'crowd' [1],[3]. CrowdRE involves all approaches that seek to perform RE in the crowd paradigm, especially by involving the crowd and collecting, harmonizing, analyzing, and interpreting their user feedback.
