Abstract

This chapter serves as an opening of the discussion. It suggests that advancing the quality of public administration and public policy studies and assuring their impact on the social environment as well as their relevance for other disciplines is a mission for scholars and practitioners who care about the nature and sustainable development of modern nations. Those, we open to discussion by presenting the rationale behind the book and the collection of chapters and authors who formulate it. The structure of the book is explained, alongside its various parts and essence.
