The relation between channel geometry and suspended sediment transport in the downstream direction.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A comparison of the data dealing with suspended sediment transport with the characteristics of the channel geometry parameters suggests the possibility of constructing a model in which the rate of change in the suspended sediment concentration downstream increases in small and very large drainage basins and decreases in basins of intermediate size.-Author
