The genus Podosphaera Kunze (Ascomycota, Erysiphales) in Israel: Species composition, host range and distribution

Abstract

All available data, including Podosphaera specimens previously collected in Israel, are critically revised. Specimens of the twelve species of the genus occurring in Israel are documented. P. erodii, P. euphorbiae, P. fugax, P. pannosa, and P. xanthii are common, P. aphanis, P. balsaminae, P. clandestina, P. dipsacacearum, and P. ferruginea are rare in investigated territories.
