Abstract
The author analyzes the evolution of Druze settlements within Greater Syria in Israel. In general, they have located in Galilee and they have undergone important changes in the last centuries. Villages of Mt. Carmel are specially studied, being destroyed in the middle of the 19th century and posteriorly revitalized. -Author
