Abstract

A compensation radome refraction loop shaping approach in active homing radar missiles, instead of or in addition to radome slope calibration, is proposed. The loop shaping, implemented in the homing loop, is performed using a control approach in design a compensation network. With this approach, improvements are shown in terms of RMS miss and in an increased stability region of the guidance loop.
