Abstract
It is shown that as the first-order phase transition is approached from below in either temperature or in external-magnetic-field strength, a layer of the homogeneous phase intervenes between two diamagnetic domains, bending the domain wall. The shape of the interface between the spreading homogeneous phase and the two domains is described by a kink soliton.
