Abstract
The ability to train end users and professional searchers has become a core competency for today's information professionals. Development of flexible and dynamic training programs that reflect a variety of audience needs and industry dynamics is an important component of a practitioner's toolkit. Training is important in cultivating and strengthening the professional community as well as marketing the service to and within organizations.
