Abstract
nformation on the papers discussed at a study day organized by the British Library on October 4, 2008 is presented. The event was held in conjunction with the Purcell Society, to mark the anniversaries of composers Henry Purcell, John Blow and Giovanni Battista Draghi. Particular focus is given to a research problem about the need to know the composers and establishments Purcell associated with during his lifetime. Presentors included Christopher Hogwood, Robert Thompson and Rebecca Herrisone.
