Abstract

This paper provides a glance into the appearance of psychodrama in Israel in the 1950s and the present status of psychodrama in light of changing requirements. I review the new requirements for training in master’s level programs, focusing on the program at the Graduate School of Creative Arts Therapies at the University of Haifa. A brief account of my recent research endeavors that focus on the Alony-Hetz Project for the Safe Future of Adolescents at-Risk and particularly on the positive Psychodrama Approach and the CBN (Cognitive Behavioral Narrative) Psychodrama Model that my colleague and I developed within the frame of this project.
