Abstract

This dataset looks at doing a speculative analysis of data of fieldwork in an Israeli kindergarten carried out over the 2000–2001 school year by Deborah Golden from the University of Haifa. The dataset reflects upon the process by which things going on in the field are noticed in the first place and then become significant enough in the eyes of the researcher to be classified as “data” and hence to warrant analysis. The dataset files are accompanied by a Teaching Guide and a Student Guide.
