On soliton mechanism for diffusion of ionic defects in hydrogen-bonded solids

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

It is shown that the solitonic mechanism may be responsible for the diffusion of ionic defects in some hydrogen-bonded solids. A good agreement with experiments is obtained for H3O+ in ice crystals.
