On ideals v-generated by two elements

Abstract

We show here that a commutative domain R for which the divisorial closure of an ideal I of R equals the divisorial closure of a set of two elements in I is not necessarily Krull. We prove this assertion in a stronger form and present some positive results for Mori, noetherian and one dimensional domains.
