Abstract

In this chapter, we describe different types of programs for students with high mathematical potential in Israel. Nurturing mathematically advanced students requires solving complex problems associated with making decisions about the scope of the programs and the choice of appropriate educational approaches. We focus our attention on classes for students with high mathematical potential, university programs for mathematically advanced school students, mathematics Olympiads and competitions. We provide some representative examples of such programs.
