Non-equilibrium diagrams of phase growth for smart materials

Abstract

A new kind of diagram is proposed to analyse the rates of phase transitions in ferroelectric smart materials. These diagrams give a convenient graphical representation of the kinetics of phase growth under changing thermodynamic parameters as well as under the influence of an external magnetic field.
