New species of operculate discomycetes (Ascomycota, Pezizomycetes) for Israeli mycobiota

Abstract

Three species from the genera Helvella and Morchella were recorded for the first time for Israel. Morphological and habitat descriptions, general distribution, illustrations, and taxonomical discussions on Morchella data, Helvella chinensis and H. spadicea are presented in this paper. Descriptions of all species are provided for Israeli samples.
