Abstract

Management for the cost of non-quality is extended to the national level, together with an extension of the notion of "cost of non-quality". A guided national quality and productivity program may help the nation as a whole, as well as its individual organizations. An initial survey of the national cost of non-quality was conducted in Israel as a first step in creating a national effort to reduce poor-quality costs.
