Abstract
Underwater acoustic (UWA) network testbed offers an efficient way for performance evaluation and comparison from the viewpoint of quasi-practical environments. In this paper a cross-media underwater sensor network test-bed is designed and implemented to investigate its performance for cross-media networking. The hardware design, network protocol and field experiment setting of the test-bed is provided. Finally, experimental results collected from the test-bed are also discussed.
