Abstract
The texts attributed to DtrN in Jos 1; 13; 23 do not constitute a homogeneous literary layer. It is also shown that the understanding of the relation between Jdc 2,6 and Jos 24,28 is essential for the demonstration of the secondary character of Jos 23 in relation to Jos 24.
