Abstract

The data presented here are results of a pilot project initiated by Ivan Ordentlich in 2001 on early bronze and copper axes from the collection of the Hungarian National Museum. At the same time, a similar series of samples were analysed from Romania. Our aim is to make the data available as a starting point for comprehensive studies.
