Abstract
Messianic belief and agitation seem to be everywhere in the Jewish world these days; as many of these manifestations affect the lives of Jews in Israel and in the golah, and certainly impinge upon the way in which we perceive ourselves as Jews and are perceived as such by others, it behooves us to try to understand this phenomenon.
