Abstract
The impact of the Gulf War on psychiatric inmates and staff members in an Israeli psychiatric hospital was recorded during the crisis, using a questionnaire and direct observation. The results and observations are discussed in light of the patients' characteristics, and their social, behavioral and cognitive deficiencies.
