Abstract

The article argues that the Indian subcontinent is the location of modern Islamic revivalism. The author discusses how Indian Islam has influenced Arab and Muslim regions, explores how Islamic revitalization has impacted Sufism and Salafis, and examines how Islam has changed through the course of globalization.
