Abstract
The article discusses issues on the policy of affirmative action in the U.S., particularly their justifications in relation to individual rights. Also cited are the instances or situations wherein affirmative action's application is morally justified, the affirmative action's aim to protect the individual rights of minority group members from oppression and discrimination, and communal rights as individual rights.
