Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This chapter discusses how to position a paper for different types of journals. It analyzes this decision process and provides guidance to optimize cost-benefit returns. It aims to help scholars make better-informed decisions when choosing which journal to submit to. It considers three major issues: (a) which journal to opt for; (b) how to evaluate the fit between the manuscript and the journal; and (c) practicalities. Finally, it returns to the main point-publish or perish.
