Group guidance and group counseling to foster social acceptability and self-esteem in adolescence

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A comparison of group guidance and group counseling interventions in Israel indicated that both methods were effective for enhancing social acceptability of socially inefficacious adolescents. Partial gains for these students were also indicated in self-esteem. All the other students who went through group guidance only gained in schooling scores. A combination of the two methods is recommended.
