Abstract
The article discusses the problems with using legal reforms to promote gender equality in Israel. Topics include the purported ineffectiveness of gender-based affirmative action programs in Israel, the importance of the political mobilization of feminists in Israel, and the gender gap in U.S. electoral politics.
