Abstract
Reef units were constructed of car tires and concrete weights, positioned on the flat bottom at a depth of 26 m at 2 sites. One site was enriched weekly by releasing surplus fish flesh at the man-made reef. There was a significant increase in the total number of fishes in the artificial structures compared to a control site, a process significantly accelerated by the artificial enrichment especially in respect of large commercial fishes. -from Authors
