Abstract

The article presents the efforts in establishing frameworks for inter-generational activities to change the negative views of the youth and the Western society towards the elderly. It notes that the Western society viewed the aged people as a person who lacks creativeness and can no longer contribute to the society. It adds that these negative images are brought by how the elderly are presented in the media. It suggests an intervention program that will investigate the attitudes of the young.
