Abstract

A unique bargaining solution satisfies restricted monotonicity, independence of irrelevant alternatives, independence of equivalent utility representations, and symmetry-the disagreement solution. It is also the unique bargaining solution that satisfies independence of irrelevant alternatives, continuity, and strong disagreement monotonicity.
