Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship
between the performance of children with Intellectual and
Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and the teacher's
satisfaction of their performance using pointing devices that
Alexandra Saad, Patrice L. (Tamar) Weiss & Naomi Schreuer

had been prescribed by the Arabic Assessment of Computer
Task Performance (AACTP). A stratified convenience
sample of 30 boys and girls, native speakers of Arabic, who
ranged in age from 6 to 21 years and had moderate IDD
participated in the study. The Quebec User Evaluation of
Satisfaction with Assistive Technology (QUEST) was used
to evaluate the teachers’ satisfaction with the prescribed
pointing device.
