Abstract

In the high school years, creativity begins to focus in on mathematical content, in very specific situations. We offer below an analysis of some dimensions of creativity, drawn from our classroom experience. The analyses proceed from particular anecdotes, to discussion of the anecdotes, to a series of general assertions about creativity. The authors offer these assertions, and especi lly our final assertion (Assertion VI), as hypotheses for further research and reflection.
