Abstract

In this article we propose a framework for handling quality information with the aim of improving quality and productivity in an organization. The proposed hierarchical framework of information is based on three levels: control of the process; evaluation of the process; and organizational assessment. The three levels are described and a field application is presented and discussed. The proposed framework, in our field-tested experience, improves the chances for successful realization of the improvement potential in organizations.
