Abstract
For any transversal-Courant algebroid E on a foliated manifold (M, ℱ), and for any choice of a decomposition TM = Tℱ ⊕ Q, we construct a Courant algebroid structure on Tℱ ⊕ T*ℱ ⊕ E.
