Abstract
המאמר מתאר את האתר הארכיאולוגי תל-אל-מוחפר המצוי באזור שכם, בצפון עמק דותן. נמצאו בו צלמיות מתקופת הברזל ותקופה פרסית, ולדעת המחבר זהו ישוב נוכרי (לא יהודי או שומרוני) שהושפע מן הפיניקים.
