מטרת המחקר המוצג במאמר לתאר את התפלגות נשאי דלקת כבד נגיפית מסוג B ו-C בנפת חיפה לפי משתנים דמוגרפיים בשנים 2000-2002, ולבדוק את המגמות הקיימות בשיעורי נשאות אלו. (מתוך המאמר)
