Abstract
בישראל ערים עתיקות (ירושלים), ערים שהתפתחו הודות למפעל הציוני (ראשון לציון) וערים שהמדינה בנתה, חלקן ערי פיתוח. אותם מתכננים שבנו את הערים ואת רוב מבני המגורים שתוכנו בפונקציונליות וחסכון, פיתחו גם מרכזים שכונתיים ושירותים ציבוריים. כל השכונות נראו זהות, בלי ייחוד ורגישות לאקלים, טופוגרפיה או נוף והיו פרי יצירת הממשלה. המאמר יתאר דוקא פרויקטים ייחודיים שתוכננו ספיציפית לאזור בו נבנו. כולל תמונות.
