Abstract
המאמר דן בחוק הפיצויים לנפגעי תאונות דרכים ובפער הקיים בין האופן שבו החוק נתפס בעיני הציבור, לבין מאפייניו בעולם המציאות. כמו כן קובע המחבר כי כמה מתכונותיו הבולטות של ההסדר הן תולדה של לחץ בלתי פוסק על המחוקק ועל מחוקק-המשנה מצידן של חברות הביטוח
