Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has brought forth numerous challenges for healthcare teams ,highlighting certain vulnerabilities within the healthcare system that necessitate reform. This underscores the importance of enhancing nursing readiness to effectively address future crises. Research Purposes: 1. To comprehend and discern prevailing perceptions concerning pandemic management in Israel and extract valuable lessons from these experiences. 2. To pinpoint precise issues necessitating preparation and readiness for future crisis scenarios. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted utilizing the phenomenological approach. The participant pool consisted of 15 senior nursing managers, selected through a combination of convenience, purposive, and snowball sampling methods. Through Zoom, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted to gatherin sights from these participants. The data analysis was both independent and double-blind, involving the identification of codes, categories, and major themes that emerged inductively from the interview responses. Findings: As a result, the study under scores a tripartite classification of vital insights emanating from thes vantage point, the significance of attunement ׳ COVID-19 care provision. Firstly, from the healthcare system to the dynamic landscape, consistent upskilling of clinical personnel, implementation of structured work protocols while preserving professional autonomy, advocacy for community well-being, fortification ofs preparedness for future emergencies emerges ׳ resilience, and enhancement of the healthcare system ׳ nurses perspectives reveal the imperative to cultivate self-care acumen and elevate ׳ prominently. Secondly, nurses outlook elucidates the necessity for tailoring ׳ moral sensitivity within the profession. Lastly, the patients healthcare services to individual needs, with a pronounced focus on the well-being of vulnerable populations. Conclusions and Implications for Nursing: In conclusion, the landscape of care provision amid the COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to notable tensions—spanning from the need to align with national requisites, to the dilemma of ׳ and organizational mandates that occasionally diverged from nurses balancing prescribed work protocols against the safe guarding of individual decision-making autonomy.It becomes imperative for senior nursing managers to recognize these tensions and conflicts as invaluable opportunities. These challenges can serve as a catalyst for the cultivation of an organizational culture thatplaces substantial emphasis on ethical deliberations, collaborative decision-making, and the formulation of innovative strategies.
