Abstract
המאמר עוסק בתיאור היסטורי של פן אחד בתולדות מחקר מערכת הפועל העברי. ליתר דיוק הוא משתמש בעיון הבלשני בפרקטיקה של תרגום הפועל העברי על מנת ללמוד על האופן שבו ניסחו המדקדקים שפעלו במאה ה-19 ובראשית המאה ה-20 את השאלות שעמדו בבסיס המחקר על מערכת הפועל העברי.
