Abstract
מאמר זה מציג היסטוריה פוליטית של השיעים בארץ ישראל מהמאה ה-15 ועד לימינו, נושא שזכה עד כה להתייחסות מועטה במחקר. מטרתו לתאר את ההיסטוריה הפוליטית של השיעה באזור זה החל בשלהי התקופה הממלוכית (המאה ה-15) והתקופה העות'מאנית (מהמאה ה-16 עד לתחילת ה-20) וכלה בשיעה בישראל בימינו.
